Our local minor league baseball team the Glacier Range Riders are off to a hot start after winning their home opener with a walk-off base hit that sent the hometown crowd into a frenzy. A new book about the heroic actions of Montana veterans will soon be released by Kalispell native and Vietnam War veteran Doug Sterner, a military historian who has spent his entire career advocating for his fellow service members.
